Wood Sheets |

Tough & Flexible Our wood sheet is highly tear-resistant and tough while it has high flexibility and reversibility. These properties are realized by bonding special resin impregnated paper to a veneer, preventing a wood sheet from tearing when it is folded or twisted. Sequences of Grains Yielded by Thinness We have succeeded in reducing the total thickness of a wood sheet including those of a veneer and backing material to the utmost limit of approx. 0.2m/m - 0.3m/m*. (*Thickness varies depending on wood species and grains.) As we use a veneer in 0.2m/m thickness, which is sliced more thinly than that widely used America or Europe where its standard thickness is 0.5 - 0.6m/m, our wood sheet presents less irregularity of grain patterns and provides more continuity of patterns. Environment and Human Friendly Non-formalin Adhesive We use non-formalin adhesive for our wood sheets, which has received four-star grade (the safest) in the environmental Japan Industrial Standards for labeling of formaldehyde emission rate. Our wood sheets are formalin-free and naturally environment and human friendly. World Top Class Quality We assure the quality of our products with use of best quality raw wood carefully selected by us. Three types of wood sheets are usually available, but we are ready to manufacture thicker types at the request of customers. |
